This Privacy Notice sets out the information processing activities that we carry out in its capacity as data controller.

•if we stop using their services, your data held by them will either be deleted or rendered anonymous.
International data transfers
We do not currently transfer personal data outside of the UK however, if this is the case the privacy notice will be updated and we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for the transfer.

How long will we hold information about you?
We only hold information about you for as long as it is needed for the purpose(s) it was collected, or as required by law.
We will hold information relating to your application for the following periods of time:
Active candidate: personal data may be retained for up to 12 months for candidates who have been actively placed or considered for job opportunities within the last year.
Candidates no longer interested or inactive: If a candidate hasn’t been contacted or considered for a role for a certain period (typically 12 months).
How and when will you hear from us
We may use your contact details to update you about the latest news and events from Captiva Recruitment.
Email and text
With your consent, or whenever you purchase with us and do not opt out of receiving our updates, we will use your contact details, preferences and details of your transactions to keep you informed by email and text about relevant products and services including tailored special offers, discounts, promotions, events, competitions and so on. This does not apply to service communications (see below).
